The interview process is a big commitment from both the
applicant and our consultants.
BTS's success is largely attributed to
recruiting and developing the best and most engaged employees. In
fact, the average tenure of a BTS consultant is 6-7 years with the
company. We believe this is a result of investing heavily in
determining a mutual fit. In most cases, our partners and office
heads are directly involved in the process. Our process is the
following:
Step 1: Application

Step 2: Telephone screening with Corporate Recruitment
During the initial interview, you will
work with our recruiters to determine whether BTS is the right fit
for you. This approach gives BTS an opportunity to learn more about
your strengths, experiences, and goals. At the same time, you will
have the opportunity to ask us questions and learn more about BTS.
Step 3: Face-to-face interviews with Consultants
If we both decide to move forward in the
recruiting process, you will then have the opportunity to meet with
one or two BTS consultants. During this interview we will discuss
your education, achievements, and experiences. This exchange is a
great time to learn about a BTS consultant’s role.
Step 4: Case Presentation & Individual Interviews
If the candidate, consultants, and our
recruiters decide that BTS is a good fit, the candidate will be
invited to participate in a case presentation interview. Our
approach to the case interview is unique compared to many large
consulting firms. You will be asked to prepare and present a brief
business analysis of a case study, which we will provide to you.
