Engaging with the BTS E4C Change Management Process
Concept Phase
E4C consultants conduct a series of
representative interviews with target audience and key stakeholders
in order to understand
- their current frame of reference
- what they expect from the future
- their needs and requirements to do their job in the future
- their sense of urgency
This way, BTS ensures that the final E4C
solution is created so that it exactly meets the needs of the people
and reflects their corporate business reality.
Development Phase
After the development of the initial
concept, a fully customized E4C solution is created in a joint
effort between the client's project team and BTS consultants. This
includes:
- collecting the relevant information and know-how - and
transforming them into elements of a Discovery Learning
solution
- selecting the appropriate media and formats
- conducting dry-runs with target audience to test the
solution; involving management and subject matter experts
- designing a support process for the roll-out
- contributing project management expertise to allow for
an efficient and effective development process
The E4C consulting approach guarantees
buy-in and commitment to support the change initiative from key
stakeholder groups, such as (middle) management, subject matter
experts, and unions.
Roll-Out Phase
For the roll-out of an E4C solution, BTS
offers two options: client self-facilitated or BTS facilitated – and
any combination in-between. Based on the agreed modus operandi for
the roll-out, the E4C process enables organizations to cascade key
messages related to the change. With the help of facilitation
manuals and Train-the-Trainer sessions, selected change agents and
managers from within the organization are prepared for their role.
This allows for cost-effective and highly efficient roll-out in
large corporations, reaching many thousands of managers and
employees in a matter of weeks. If required, E4C consultants and
experienced facilitators support in or conduct sessions for
important stakeholders.
Throughout the roll-out, a
state-of-the-art concept embedded in all E4C solutions ensures a
constant dialogue between management and employees – and measures
the success of implementing the initiative and the desired behavior
in day-to-day work.
