Who we Seek

We currently seek an Accountant for our office in Scottsdale, AZ. The Accountant will be responsible for the day to day general accounting functions including accounts receivables, sales invoicing, vendor payables and financial analysis as directed. Please note that this position will require a temporary relocation to our Stamford, CT office for training purposes. The training will be a minimum of eight weeks.

Responsibilities include
  • Timely billing of customers' accounts managed by this position including proper supporting documentation and accuracy versus customer purchase orders and remittance advices
  • Preparation of customer invoices and required analysis
  • Coordinate customer pricing with sales account managers and production department
  • Periodic customer account reconciliations and timely collection of outstanding accounts receivables
  • Vendor payables including gathering proper personnel approval, coding and entry of such payables
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, including supporting schedules
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures to enhance workflow
  • Financial analysis and special projects as directed
Ideal Candidates will have
  • Temporary relocation to Stamford, CT office for training (Minimum 8 Weeks)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • Prior work experience in an accounting function
  • Knowledge of standard accounting principles, procedures and regulations
  • Knowledge of Great Plains
  • Proficiency in Windows/Office/Word/Excel
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and vendors
  • Motivated self starter with attention to detail, the ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines
  • Desire to work hard and excel in a growing company
  • Ability to analyze financial data and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ethical and moral responsibility for accurate reporting of the financial results of the company
